General information

The Wild Art Fair & Exhibition 2022 will be held at The Old Parsonage, Stenner Ln, Didsbury, Manchester M20 2RQ.

The Exhibition will run from Sunday 29th May until Sunday 19th June 2022. It will be open to the public every Sunday from 11.00am to 4:30pm. We are looking for a diverse range of wildlife inspired original artwork in any medium, with the aim to have as much variety as possible in the exhibition. All artwork must be framed to a high standard (frames in black, white and natural wood are preferred) and any 3D work must be ready to hang or can be displayed in a glass cabinet.

We also have space to sell cards, and there will be a standing print rack for unframed work. These will be on sale on Sundays when the gallery is open to the public and will be supervised. The Parsonage is currently getting a great footfall of 300+ on Sundays, so we are expecting plenty of visitors. There is also an opportunity for you to be present on these days if you’d like to be there to chat about your work.

Artists are responsible for dropping off and collecting their artwork and any additional cards/prints for sale. Any display work sold will be collected by customers at the end of the exhibition. We will inform you of your sales at the end of the exhibition and will pay direct to your bank account. The Parsonage will take 20% commission of all sales, so please price your work accordingly.

The Fair will be held on Friday 3rd June, from 11am until 4:30pm. It will run as part of the Parsonage’s Jubilee Garden Party so there will be lots going on, and we have space for about 10 artists to sell their work both indoors and outdoors.

Artists applying for an indoor space will be provided with a 6ft x 4ft table and a chair. Artists applying for an outdoor space will need to provide their own gazebo, no larger than 3m x 3m. Gazebos must be properly weighted down. No tent pegs, cord or pegging into the grass is allowed, or tying to trees. The gazebo must be erected in the designated spot with nothing extended beyond it.

Please note that the stall layout cannot be changed on the day. Our floor plan will be arranged according to the space we are provided to allow each stallholder a fair chance of sales and so that stalls selling similar work are not adjacent. No traders will be allowed to pack down until we give the go ahead.

The deadline for applications is Sunday 10th April, midnight. We aim to let all applicants know the outcome of their application by Sunday 1st May.
